Kabarak University officially opened the 15th edition of the International Conference on Business, Economics and Commerce on July 1, 2025, under the timely and transformative theme: “Sustainable Business Models in the Era of Artificial Intelligence for Youth Empowerment.” Held in a hybrid format, the conference brought together distinguished scholars, industry leaders, government officials, and students to explore innovative and ethical pathways for youth-driven economic development in the age of artificial intelligence.

The conference commenced with a word of prayer by Rev. Laban Kiplagat Kittony, the Acting University Chaplain, setting a reflective and purpose-driven tone for the engagements that followed. Participants were then officially welcomed by Prof. Patrick Kibati, Dean of the School of Business and Economics, who acknowledged the growing need for interdisciplinary research and dialogue to address the evolving challenges facing young people in business and commerce.
