On this fine Wednesday, a curious phenomenon unfolded at Kabarak University — Special Wednesday. No, it wasn’t a public holiday or a flash mob gone rogue. It was the day our finalists decided to trade their books for a bit of pomp and pageantry, celebrating the bittersweet reality that their time at Kabarak was drawing to a close.

The 24th Session of the Kenya Model United Nations (KMUN) Conference, held from March 10th to 14th, 2025, at the United Nations Offices in Nairobi, Gigiri, brought together young leaders from various institutions to engage in dynamic debates and discussions on global affairs, policy-making, and diplomacy.

On March 15, 2025, peer counselors from Kabarak University’s Nakuru City Campus and KABU TVET Institute came together in a remarkable display of love and unity. Their mission was clear: to bring joy and hope to the children of Amani Children’s Home in Lanet.

Our counsellors recently participated in a transformative workshop on Mental Well-being in Universities in Kenya, held at Pwani University from March 5th to 7th, 2025. The event brought together university counsellors and psychologists from across the country to discuss strategies for enhancing mental health support in higher education institutions.

A vibrant and uplifting chapel service filled with colorful presentations, reflective moments, and joyful celebration took place today, as student leaders from various academic disciplines were formally commissioned.

Kabarak University marked a significant leadership transition today with the Swearing-in and Dedication Ceremony for the newly elected Kabarak University Students Organization (KUSO) leaders. The solemn event, held at the Convocation Hall Chapel, emphasized the essence of servant leadership, integrity, and commitment to service.
