Data science and artificial intelligence are rapidly growing fields that are changing the way we live and work. To help individuals stay up-to-date on the latest concepts and tools in these areas, the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence group in the School of Science, Engineering and Technology has been holding a series of boot camps on Saturdays starting January 14^th and running through February 11^th.

Over the last ten years, the University has hosted Annual International Research Conferences in line with its mission of providing holistic quality education based on research and practical skills. This year (2022) the University hosted the 12th Annual International Research Conference between the 28th of March 鈥� the 19th of October 2022, which participants attended both physically and virtually. 

The inaugural Central Rift Innovation Week was hosted by Kabarak University between the 1^st and 4^th of November 2022. The event whose theme was 鈥�Commercialization of Research and Innovation featured plenaries, a workshop, and an exhibition all aimed at re-igniting conversations around income generation and employment creation from research and innovation outputs

Kabarak University in line with its core mandate in teaching, conducting research and reaching out to the community evidently dedicated four days in the academic calendar to host the Central Rift Innovation Week to show how seriously we take issues pertaining research and innovation.

The KUPPRAC team through Research Innovation and Outreach (RIO) at Kabarak University presented two papers during the 11^th Annual International Conference at Eldoret National Polytechnic. The conference themed 鈥淐ompetency in Research, Sciences and Innovation for Sustainable Development鈥� attracted participants from Academia, Government, and the International sector to bring together ideas for sustainable development.

Kabarak University in collaboration with Laikipia University organized a debate that took place on 23rd September 2022. The event saw two clubs, that is, Kabarak University Public Policy Research and Analysis club (KUPPRAC) and the UNESCO club of Laikipia, known as LUUNECO come together.

The Kabarak University School of Business and Economics hosted its 12th Annual International Research Conference on the theme of Global trends in trade, investment, and growth today. The keynote speaker paid a courtesy call to the vice-chancellor鈥檚 office before they headed for the well-attended research conference at the Kabarak Auditorium.

The Kabarak University School of Music and Media is the youngest formed school which was instituted earlier this year under the leadership of the founding Dean Professor Mellitus Wanyama. The school is currently hosting its 1^st two-day Annual International Research Conference on Refocusing Music and other performing arts for sustainable development, at the School of Music and Performing Arts Library.

Kabarak university in collaboration with Kenya national library, Nakuru, and yes you can, had a digital literacy training day targeting library staff, volunteers, Digital literacy pupil champions, and teachers from selected schools. This was to impact the community greatly and reach out to teachers and children from various schools. The event was held on Saturday, July 9^th, 2022 at the Kenya National Library, Nakuru

Kabarak University, School of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences (Department of Theology & Biblical Studies) on 5^th July 2022 visited Baringo Bible college to offer talks on interest areas, strategic ministry areas, and knowledge transfer. The team shared knowledge on the subject they have published. The topics covered four major areas.
