The ACPK 2024 Conference, which began on November 25th and runs through November 28th at Sarova Woodlands, Nakuru, has brought together ICT professionals, academics, and industry leaders for a transformative event focused on advancements in cybersecurity, remote work technologies, cloud innovation, and sustainable ICT practices. As the conference continues to unfold, Kabarak University has already made a strong impression, with two remarkable students from the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology (SSET) presenting innovative projects that have captivated attendees. Mavin Kipkorir Ng’etich introduced a pioneering Sound Recognition Project, showcasing practical applications of auditory data for accessibility and automation, while Olives Matei presented an Automatic Noise Cancellation Project, which has received special recognition for its creativity and technological impact. The success of these projects, guided by the dedicated mentorship of and the valuable support of and , reflects our unwavering dedication to nurturing innovative minds and equipping students with the skills to lead in technological breakthroughs.
