Kabarak University convened the Association of Academic Registrars of Universities in Kenya (AARUK) Sensitization Workshop on Thursday 25th July 2024. Under the stewardship of Vice-Chancellor Professor Henry K. Kiplangat, also the AARUK Patron, the two-day event centered on the theme "Navigating the Future: A Platform for Innovative Practices, Challenges and Opportunities in the Rapidly Evolving Landscape of University Administration." The workshop aimed to equip academic registrars with the necessary tools and knowledge to address the dynamic challenges confronting higher education institutions.

Kabarak University recently embarked on a mission to empower students in Homabay County with vital career guidance. A dedicated team from our Counseling Section, courtesy of the Marketing Department, participated in a career exhibition at Mbita High School on July 19th-20th, 2024. The event, organized by Bless a Soul International, drew participation from numerous high schools across Homabay County.

The Kabarak University School of Music and Media (SMM) recently hosted a captivating Senior Recital that showcased the exceptional talents of our graduating students. Held on the 19th of July at the Amphitheater, the event was a resounding success, filled with elegance, brilliance, and a palpable sense of accomplishment. Our four talented finalists, Diana Amunya, Laura Gacheru, Linah Kamore, and Faith Akoth, mesmerized the audience with their diverse and virtuosic performances, spanning voice, saxophone, piano, and violin.

8^th July 2024 marked the beginning of mental health awareness week at Nakuru City Campus. The week-long activity was organized by the counseling section led by the campus counselor Ms.Veronicah Kombich supported by a vibrant team of peer counselors. The theme of the activity was campus relationships.

On July 12th, 2024, the Kabarak University Nakuru City Campus buzzed with a different kind of energy. Peer counselors and Africa Youth Leadership Forum (»Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ) club members joined forces for a day dedicated to giving back to the community. Led by their ever-supportive counselor and »Æ¹ÏÊÓƵ patron, Ms. Veronicah Kombich, the team embarked on a mission that left a lasting impact on both themselves and the community they served.

The Directorate of Excellence in Learning and Teaching recently spearheaded a comprehensive training initiative at Kabarak University, aimed at empowering the institution's teaching staff with cutting-edge strategies and practices. Held at the prestigious Kabarak University Auditorium, the training was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Henry Kiplangat.
