On June 13th, 2025, Kabarak University's School of Science, Engineering, and Technology (SSET) proudly welcomed the (IEEE) Kenya Section, with support from the Student Activities Committee (SAC), for an inspiring public lecture. This dynamic event brought together students, industry leaders, and innovators in a shared commitment to advancing technology and fostering innovation.

From June 3rd to 6th, 2025, a team of 11 Christian student leaders from Kabarak University, accompanied by Assistant Chaplain Pastor Deborah Juma, had the privilege of attending the 5th Annual Christian Student Leadership Conference at the Jumuia Conference Resort in Kanamai. The conference, themed 鈥淟eadership that Transforms,鈥�  brought together over 200 Christian student leaders from 15 universities across the country. The University Provost, Rev. Justus Mutuku, graced the official opening of the conference.

The 4th Multisectoral Conference and Exhibition on Research, Science, Technology, and Innovation, held from June 9 to 12 at and organized by , brought together key stakeholders in higher education, industry, and policymaking. Among the lead discussants was Prof. Henry Kiplangat, Vice-Chancellor of Kabarak University, the only representative from a private university in that role. His presentation focused on a critical issue, the need to transform STEM education in universities to better address real-world challenges.

Kabarak University has taken a significant step toward educational excellence with the commencement of construction on a new ultra-modern tuition block. The groundbreaking and dedication ceremony was led by the esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, alongside the university鈥檚 senior management team, staff, and key stakeholders. This event marks a major milestone in the university's infrastructural and academic development agenda. Once completed, the new tuition block will serve as a cornerstone for delivering cutting-edge education, accommodating the growing student population, and providing a conducive, well-equipped environment for teaching, learning, and research.

Kabarak University is excited to partner with the University of Nairobi and the University of California, San Francisco, to offer a groundbreaking opportunity for final-year female STEM students. The ENGAGE Program, which aims to empower women through data science, is back with an incredible chance for young women to immerse themselves in the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning.
